You may cancel your AOL account at any time. However, if you are on an Annual price plan, you will not be entitled to a refund for unused months if more than 30 days has passed following the AOL Billing Date on which your Annual price plan took effect.
AOL are only able to offer a discounted Annual price on the basis that members commit to remaining on this plan for a 12 month period.

I was using AOL but as I have a talk talk line I was given free broadband on the phoneline.... The phone providers (in my case talktalk) are the oweners of the line, when I changed they transferred me onto the talktalk server and cancelled my AOL all without me having to do anyting about it.

I also was having problems with AOL and compained bitterly about the service however this doens't really help as the call centres are in 4 different countries they just apologise profusely but state there is nothing they can do
