Is your question, would a stud-finder work through concrete? The answer is no. A stud-finder works on sound density of material, and concrete is simply to dense for the weak signal of a stud-finder to penetrate.

if we knew what you were trying to accomplish , it would help...metal detector would pass through concrete, but theres a good chance you would just be picking up the wire mesh in the concrete if there is any.. dont think a stud finder will tell you anything
