Alright so I have this school project on 2 songs.

I chose the first song but I'm just wondering if Welcome to the black parade by My Chemical Romance is appropriate for the school project. My mom always listens to it and she likes it and said it's appropriate...but I wanna know if my teacher would find this appropriate.

THANKS :)

I'm in middle school.

I don't see why not.

I'd be prepared to explain what it means to you, that is all.

Good choice, in my opinion!

I have never understood why there are so many things that are LIFE-appropriate for kids (they're thinking them, doing them, hearing about them from other kids) but which are not SCHOOL-appropriate or HOME-appropriate.

I'm glad your Mom listens to your music and talks with you about it.

I don't know if your teacher would quite like the style of music but I think it's appropriate...of course it changes a little in high school. But it would help if we knew what kind of project it is.

As long as there isn't any profanity or mature subject matter it should be ok. Play it for your teacher after school, see what she thinks.

I think there is nothing wrong with it but, why don't you run it by your teacher just to make sure?
