First wash it off gently where any soreness is visible with Baby shampoo.
Then Put neosporin on it 3 times a day front and back and leave earring in the piercing. Wash your hands frequently in the next days with plenty of soap & water so you do not transfer the bacterial infection to your mouth, other piercings, eyes. If you haven't already- go wash your pillow case in hot water.
Take Vitamin C mega doses for the next couple days while the redness goes away.
If you experience fever or dark red streaking up into the cartiledge of your ear then you would need an oral antibiotic and should go to the dr, or if this continues over a period of time with no improvement a doctor attention would be called for..
Dont put rubbing alcohol on the ear again today, it only is going to irritate already tender tissues. Pus means your body is fighting this infection.

OMG, the first time I had my ears pierced, they used cheap silver and I was so allergic, my ears were infected- bad. I used peroxide to help kill the infection. I would soak two cotton balls and hold them on the front and back of my ear lobe to clean them out and do it atleast three times a day and change the earrings to gold.
