Elijah was a prophet, as was Joshua, Isaac the father of Jacob and Esau. Michael was an angel. Do a little more research so perhaps the boys have equal standing so far as the meanings of their names.

I love the name Elijah and I love Isaac. If I have boys they will be named Eli and Isaac. Cute names!! Congrats and Good Luck making final decisions on names!!

I like both of those names. I think we have the same taste! My son's name is Isaac Mikhael and I am pregnant with another boy right now. I want to name him Joshua (I love that name!) and thought about Elijah. I like both of your names!!

I like the namse but Isaac I dont really like I think that something else like Andrew or something might be more fitting with the name Joshua. Good Luck and congrads.

I think those are very nice names. (My son is a Joshua, so naturally I like that name.) The names don't rhyme and aren't made to match. Each child will have their own separate name to identify with. (I work in a hospital and a lot of twins end up with corny, matchy names. Like Jett and Maxx.) Good choices if you ask me.

They are good names, they flow nicely (important when you are calling them by their first and middle name) are different from each other (important when they get older and want to be more indepedent) and I like the fact that they are traditional names that have stood the test of time, with many opportunities for nicknames for both (Eli, mike, Lijah, Josh, Izzy, zack) which allows them to express their individuality, and I see no problems with initials spelling anything unintended. Very nice names.

I like them. I'm not a big fan of the name Elijah, but it sounds good saying "Elijah and Joshua".

Great names!

Thank you for not being a parent who tries to make the names rhyme!!!

You actually thought about how they would get teased at school and how everyone would mix them up!!!

I love the way you made the names have nothing to do with each other!!

Thank You!!
