It's a Holocaust book that I read in probably middle school... I don't know the author even. But, it's about this younger girl who is living with her grandparents in Poland maybe. Then, the Nazis come and take them away. The book focuses mainly on the train ride over there and how brutal it is. I think one of the main characters die on the train... the grandma perhaps...? It ends with them arriving at the camp, getting separated, and then with them going to the showers that are really gas chambers. I know this is pretty vague, and a lot of Holocaust books are probably similiar, but any help is appreciated, because I haven't been able to think of it for years! :) Thanks!

Yeah, it's definitely not Angela's Ashes... it doesn't sound familiar...

Excuse me, but the first 2 answerers have neither read "Angela's Ashes" nor are they familiar with the Holocaust.

Is it THE HIDING PLACE, by Corrie Ten Boom? That's the one I read in middle school.
