Well as you know Meredith fell into the water and that little girl just stood there looking,Izzie saved her patients life by performing surgery using a power drill,Cristina looks all over for Meredith then tries to explain to Burke that Meredith is her "person" and that if she killed someone Meredith would be the person she would call to help remove the body,weird i know,anyways George searches all over for the missing boy and finds out that Callie has been performing surgery on him the whole time,Derek brings Meredith out of the water and tries to revive her,the chief takes Izzie off of probation and tells her she did a good job,it leaves off with all the interns together and Izzie giving a speech about how all will be fine and how George made a big mistake in marrying Callie but that he will be ok,the chief and Dr. Bailey try to revive Meredith,Derek is pushed out of the room and is in the hallway looking helpless,Derek and Mark share a moment,then at the end Meredith wakes up to find bomb guy and Denny on either side of her and she asks Am I dead? and Denny says yes....I think i might cry again please do not miss anymore episodes next week is very critical it is the 3rd part hopefully this helped you out!

Meredith drowned & they spent half the show trying to find her & the other half trying to revive her. It ended with her "going to the light" and meeting Denny & the guy that blew up with that bomb last season.
George spent the whole show looking for that woman's little boy & finally found Callie operating on him.
Izzie did brain surgery on the guy trapped under the cars & has been taken off probation.
That's the gist without all the subplots but there you go
