I have two skunk loaches and they are very active, partly because they are a little territorial. They are great and entertaining, and they make clicking sounds when a fish gets too close to their area. They do not hurt other fish, just click at them. I really like them and they don't really hide. They do swim through my tunnels and plants, but I can always see them and like I said before, they are very active fish....

My friend has a clown loach who is very active as well and rarely hides. I know they get to be pretty big though....

Good luck!

they actually should not be with White clouds as white Clouds are chilly water fish and Betta's are tropical. they may be with platties, corries, Khuli Loaches, female guppies, something that may no longer a fin nipper or that doesn't look as though a betta regardless of the undeniable fact which you like a 10 gallon tank in the past you additionally can think of roughly tank pals. Please do no longer positioned a Betta or different fish in a bowl.

Loaches are definatly "schoaling" fish and need to be in groups to be comfortable. 5 Yo-yo would be fine. I've got 10 Clown loaches, and there out all the time, but need a very large tank. Angelicus and Yo-yo's are 2 different types, easily told apart. Yo-yo's are gray and black, with the black making several "Y's" on there sides.

Most loaches are nocturnal feeders and bottom dwellers like catfish. They also like to live in groups ,3-6 together. I have weather loaches and they are very active, especially at feeding time.

Thats pretty normal loach behavior. Clown loaches tend to be more active, but they can get big.

i have khuli loaches. there's only 2, and they usually hide. but they're great fun to watch when they're out in the open. I've read that if you have more (like 5, maybe) that they'll come out more often to play with each other. these guys are my favorite fish in my tank... i just wish i could find them some playmates.
