Atom is smallest unit which consisit of proton, neutron and surrounded by electron. No of proton is always equal to no of electron and thus atom is no charge.
For examples H, C, O, N are atoms.
Molecule is combination of atoms with bond. Molecule is created by bonded atoms when electrons fill up the outer orbit of each atom.
For example H2, CO2, N2

For starters an atom cannot have molecules but a molecule always has atoms. Like you break atoms to electrons protons and neutrons molecules are broken in atoms. chlorine exists as its molecule by the combination of its 2 atoms thats why the formula Cl2 and salt molecule exist as the combination of an atom of sodium and 1 atom of chlorine.

In science, a molecule is a combination of two or more atoms in a definite arrangement held together by chemical bonds.[1] Chemical substances are not infinitely divisible into smaller fractions of the same substance: a molecule is generally considered the smallest particle of a pure substance that still retains its composition and chemical properties.[2] Certain pure substances (e.g., metals, molten salts, crystals, etc.) are best understood as being composed of networks or aggregates of atoms or ions instead of molecular units.
In the molecular sciences, a "molecule" is a sufficiently stable, electrically neutral entity composed of two or more atoms.[3] The concept of a single-atom or monatomic molecule, as found in noble gases, is used almost exclusively in the kinetic theory of gases, where the fundamental gas particles are conventionally termed "molecules" regardless of their composition
.A molecule is more than one atom. For example, if you're dealing with Carbon dioxide, one molecule would be CO2. If you're dealing with just oxygen, one molecule could be O2. A molecule is generally thought of as being bigger than an atom, but an atom CAN be bigger than a molecule. For example, you can have one atom of Francium, which is just a big atom. If you're comparing it to that molecule of Oxygen, then the atom would be bigger.

An atom is the smallest amount of an element. A molecule is the smallest amount of a substance as it exists in nature and can consist of a number of atoms of the same element, or a mixture.

an atom of an element is the smallest particle but the molecule of an element is the smallest particle that can exist alone.
For example: when we write hydrocloric acid, we write it as HCl but because a single atom of hydrogen cannot exist alone, when we write hydrogen,we write it as H2 and not only H.

Molecules are atoms joined together by ionic and covalent bonding.
e.g.
Hydrogen and oxygen are atoms.
H2O is a water molecule.
