Just kidding. seriously I noticed while looking at all the hockey questions and comments.. One player is going unnoticed.
Marian Gaborik

looking at his stats so far this year.. considering how few games he's played. I think he's doing quite well at little over a point a game.

What do you guys think? Is he Overrated, Underrated.. or underachieving?

you are right he has been overlooked i think that is because he has been out for so many games(34)that people tend to forget about you.he is on fire right now.when i say people i mean the sports announcers quit talking about them and they kind of fade out of the public's mind.look at buffalo's tim connelly he is one the best players to hit the ice but he has been out since the playoffs last year, you don't hear anything about him right now,or jeri fischer for detroit redwings,he's the one that had the convulsion on the bench that night,no one talks about him anymore,so we have a tendency to forget not on purpose but that is human nature. i think you will be hearing alot more about gaborik now that he has returned!!!!!!!!!!!he's good.

I think the jury is still out on Gaborik.

He's always had the tools and has been an exciting player. Unfortunately, he's also been incosistent, streaky and often injured. Is he a difference maker? The Wild haven't done anything to gauge that either.

Bottom line, Gaborik is a talented player who needs to make his mark pretty soon or else will have earned his place on the underachiever list.

he was drafted 3rd overall in the 00-01 draft, and he had a good first 3 years, but then was sent to the minor leagues and has been plagued with injuries ever since, hopefully if he Wild can hold on to the final Western Conference playoff spot this year, he can make a name for himself in the post-season.

I think he is underrated, because he was injured for most part of the season in the beginning.

He's gone under the radar this year since he was out with injury for so long. I picked him up in my hockey pool when he returned and he's been on fire.
