The answer is d heterogeneous. Trust me i know i am majoring in chemistry. If you want to know the reason also here it is a heterogeneous mixture is one whe the composition of two different substances in a non-uniform way that is if samples of it are taken at random, the composition of the different samples will not be the same. As an element is a pure substance this contadicts it's definition therefore it is the incorrect answer. The answer can also be obtained from elimination. Now, and element is homogeneous and since heterogeneous is the opposite of homogeneous(having the same composition throughout) that will have to be the answer. good luck and trust me.
