fast user switching?

i have enabled my fast user switching in xp and even though i have enabled it it is not working when i try to do so it says that the programs will be stoped save before you switch?what is the problem and what has to be done

I think you dont have enough ram to do it. When you use fast user switching all the running applications will still be loaded in the ram

u havent described how u have activated fast user switching. u should go to control panel then double click on user accounts and click on the link "change the way users log on or log off" after that check both box for "use welcome screem" and "use fast user switching" and click apply options.
after u finish just close that and try to press windows logo key + L key same time. it will work
