I had the same problem its because they are getting bigger at such a past pace. I highly suggest a St. Ives lotion with vitamin E because that's what I used every day and it helped. I got stretch marks on my boobs because at first I was only putting lotion on my belly and lower back. I started to put the lotion on my boobs as soon as I seen stretch marks and they went almost completely away. I would put lotion on in the morning right when I got out of the shower and then again every night before bed and I didn't get a single strech mark on my belly or love handle area (get two bottles and put one in the bathroom on the counter and one at your bed side that way its in sight and in mind.) I don't know if I just got lucky but if I would highly suggest the lotion and seriously do it religiously and you will be happy and it will give you something to brag about when it comes to pregnancy.

Well I can't remember any itchy nipple problems with my pregnancy. But there was leaking from time to time far before my due date and that could be what's happening. As far as how to relieve it, not sure. But don't use soap on your nipples. It will dry and probably irritate them further. You should ask a health care professional as how to relieve the itching.

Your skin does lots of weird things when you are prego, I would think it is just dry skin. I use Lansinoh brand Lanolin. It is kinda expensive ($9 for 2oz) but it will last forever because a little goes a long way. If you planning on breastfeeding later then this is great stuff for sore and cracked nipples. I got mine at Wal-Mart in the infant aisle. It really works!

I had this same problem and I guess because I was so comfortable with my OB I pointed it out to him, that and every other little embarrassing problem I had. Anyhow he suggested Vitamin E oil applied to the nipples a few times a day. Not lotion just pure Vitamin E oil and it worked for me. I still use it 9 months after giving birth.

It is very common to have itchy nipples. Your body is going through changes and your senses and nerves are more highened because of pregnancy. Try Vitamin E on your nipples that should help. Hang in there and congrats on baby

DON'T USE CORTISONE! It can get to the baby, and you aren't supposed to use it more than twice...PERIOD.
Buy Eucerin cream. It comes in a big tub, and is very very thick.
AFTER you shower, use that cream. Put it on thick. Better yet, use it on the rest of your body too.
It only works if you put it on after you bathe and are still a little damp. Try not to wear clothing that rubs against your nipples.

Sometimes the nerves in the nipples go crazy. Lanolin for nursing moms can make a huge difference. It worked for me! Plus you can use it after birth too if you nurse your baby.

Itchy nipples are due to active nerves in the breast during your pregnancy. They are various oil and cream that can be use such as Lanolin, and Aloe. These are also okay throughout your pregnancy. If you are not going to breast-feed you should not scratch them because it will stimulate and send a message to horomones to produce breast milk.

I am in my second trimester as well and i found that my bra and the detergent i used on my clothing was the culprit. What worked for me is switching to a silk or microfiber bra and a hypoallergenic detergent.
