No, If he didnt respect you enough to not cheat after the first time and 4 years of being together, well his respect isnt going to grow over night. Your his backup when he has no other pussy to f.u.c.k. , he knows he has you, I know that sounded a little mean but he obviously isnt ready to be commited, i mean he is still out looking for others. You are too good for him and it will bring you down when you are in a relationship where there are so many reasons not to trust. LOve cant grow if you cant trust and espect the other partner. Obviously I wouldnt trust him and he doesnt respect you. I am not trying to be mean, but run, run, run,

Yes, you should forgive him BUT not stay with him. Get rid of the jerk. If you don't, you are a bigger fool than he is. But you don't want to carry that crap around. Forgive him and forget him. He treated you like crap.

I am going through something very similar, and I am also torn. I think it honestly takes time to truly know the answer to this question for yourself. You need to take time to truly contemplate if you will ever be able to trust him again; clearly that will take time, but you need to think if you can ever be normal again with your boyfriend. Much time is necessary to find this out.
