I am worried about your fish! I am pretty sure Bettas are the only fish that can survive in a bowl. Goldfish should be in a tank with a filtration system. Why not go out and buy one of those little 2-5 gallon tanks with all the supplies and most importantly a filter! Then you will have very little maintenance...only small water changes (25%) every few weeks or as needed.

OK, Goldfish can live in a bowl, it is just not good for them. You should change the water 1 to 2 times a week. Do not overfeed him, it will put more ammonia in the water and the fish does that enough. If you can, it would be better to get a small tank.

Goldfish can't live in a bowl. They produce too much ammonia and will make the water toxic. If you want the fish's life to be extended in this torture tank, change 100% twice a day.
