Before everyone starts immortalizing David Lee, I want to make it clear that HE DID NOT HIT ALL OF HIS SHOTS in the Rookie-Sophomore game. He was fouled once near the end of the game in the act of shooting, and the ball didn't go in, but he got the points from the free throw line. He was actually 14-of-15 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line for 30 points. I recorded and watched the entire game. The official scorekeeper also screwed up the boxscore for Luther Head. I know it really doesn't matter and the game means nothing, but I don't think Lee should be worshipped for something he didn't do, which was make all of his shots. Besides, he wouldn't have scored that many points if his teammates hadn't kept feeding him the ball.

We've got a lot of good players in the Knicks right now, but Eddy Curry is definitely our best player. He's our all-star and he will only continue to get better. Eddy is our first focal point on offense since Patrick Ewing was in his prime, he will improve his rebounding and become a double-double player. He's only 24 is on his way to becoming a franchise player. David Lee is awesome, he's a great rebounder, and affects the game positively even if he's not scoring. Jamal Crawford works well with Eddy Curry, they've got a great alley-oop, and if Crawford improves his shooting, he will become an Allan Houston type of player. Marbury is really believing in himself again, and Q-Rich is a good defender and he's got his touch back, Frye is great coming off the bench, he's only in his second year, like Lee, those kids are amazing. The Knicks right now are a team, they have six or seven players that are really good, like the Kings had five or six years ago. This year is the year that we finally built the team and our core of players, now it just needs to coalesce, and the Knicks are gonna go back to glory. Just look at our core of players and how well they are learning to work together, Curry, Lee, Marbury, Richardson, Crawford, Frye...we have a good young team full of talent and promise and this is only the first year that they've been assembled, in the next two years, the Knicks will be a championship team. We have the players that will take us back to glory.

The Knicks are a very inconsistent team. Crawford, Richardson, and Marbury have all had great streaks for 4-5 games and then fading away. David Lee has been the rock for the team, consistently coming off the bench for 10 point and 10 boards. In that manner, he is the best player; he is someone the Knicks can always count on for a solid performance. That being said, what really defines "best player?" In my mind, I want my best player to be a show stopper, a person who can be the face of the organization. David Lee does not have the capability of controlling a game. In my opinion, the best player on the Knicks is Eddy Curry, he can dominate games and is still fairly consistent. He is young and I see great potential in him to become the next great center provided he improves his work ethic and holds on to the ball better. He can certainly be the next face of the Knicks.

David Lee can become a great player but he must get the 15-18 foot shot down, if he had that he would be unstoppable. The best player over all on the knicks now is Eddy Curry.

Me being Knicks fan, I've watched quite a few games and its safe to say he isn't the BEST player if you mean talentwise. That award probably goes to Jamal Crawford because he's the most talented player with his array of shots. Or maybe Stevie Franchise, even tho he's been injured lately and doesn't play with heart, that doesnt' take away from his skill. David Lee is the player who plays with the most hustle and most heart. He's the kid who will dive for the lose balls and contest shots while doing the dirty work like setting picks. Thats why most of us think of him as a fan favorite. David Lee i think will be a big part of the future for NYK with his tenacity, heart, hustle, and he's also a skilled player who can use both hands.

i like David Lee lots. he's a confusing worker who does the grimy artwork and does not ***** approximately it. Plus, he has some offense as properly. i think of he gets extra advantageous if his enjoying time is extra consistent. He could have been a superb extra healthy for the Lakers in the event that they did no longer get Pau Gasol. think of of David Lee as a extra controlled and polished Dennis Rodman.

he is not the best player on the knicks, but he's up there. Best player would probably be Eddie Curry.

Lee might not be the best player- I think Eddy Curry is- but he's the hardest worker. I think he could be the poor man's Dave DeBuschere or Charles Oakley because he does all of the dirty work and thanks you for it.
