I think that they are one in the same.
Society just feels the need to give them names and shove 'em in a category, like they do everything else. Personally, I tend to feel that all who fall under the genius label are simply insane people who try to hide behind a mask that gives society permission to deem them more socially acceptable. Insane people are the genius' of the world that don't give 2 sh*ts what the world thinks and are simply proud to revel in the liberation that their knowledge brings... A Magnificent, Blissful... Freedom.
One day I hope to be insane...

Insanity is a good choice since it would make life much more fun and hilarious. But at the other hand, being a genius is good since you can go to any colege and course you want. So both.

what would you define as insane and what would you define as genius? If a genius is somebody who knows everything then i would probably go crazy and if insanity is living in total ignorance then i would be blind to all that is worng with the world and probably be very happy.

only in some cases. many insane people are miserable and most genius's find a 'zone' to live in where they are ok.
There are also genius's who end up insane because of the world!
