Appeals courts do not have juries.

Appeals courts are comprised of a panel of judges who review the district courts' decisions and the record from the district court.

A district court decision can be appealed to an appellate court; an appellate court decision can be appealed to the highest court in that jurisdiction (i.e., Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, or State Supreme Court).

Good luck.
