my nephew was playing some game on it and it just started being sideways its been like that for a week of course we've tryed rebooting

Press CTRL + ALT + left arrow key
(or right arrow key depending on how the display is currently set.)
You can disable this feature as well...

go to display property go to monitor/display tab click the advance setting under the adapter tab look setting for the position.

IF you have have crt monitor just press the button say something like "diagnoss.." .
If you have other kind just reinstall your graphic card driver software.
If you need softare or driver just give me buzz
