i'm not sure why you would call the police in the UK from the USA.

the 999 number is national, it is not just for London. it is also the emergency number that is inclusive of the ambulance service as well. if you need to call the a police station in London look for the area you require on www.met.police.uk

why would you want to call the British police they take a week to come to a crime scene in the UK. Call 911 it's quicker it might be quicker if us in the UK dial 911.
