Hi,I would try reinstallion of the printer, making sure to detail. If that does not work ,check your sound controls in MY computer section of settings. And last but not least the sound card in computer, perhaps in moving it around something may have loosened up.Also check all wiring connections on computer.Good Luck

I get something similar - Every time I install the latest drivers for my Sound blaster card, I loose access to the modem!
I think you will have to uninstall the drivers for your printer and go back to the old driver for your printer - Unless it a brand new printer you are fitting for the first time???
You might try seeing if there are newer drivers for your sound card? Maybe it will play happily with your printer with new drivers?
Unfortunately this sort of thing happens quite often and you will have to try the latest software for both your sound card and your printer. If this doesn't work, you will need to contact both of them, telling them that the printer kills the sound on the sound card and tell BOTH of THEM:
Make and model of computer
What operating system you are using (like "Windows XP")
The make and model of the printer
The make and model of the sound card
Hopefully they will be able to sort out from there which of them is causing the problem!
I hope this helps!

check with microsoft's hardware compatibility site if your newly installed printer is compatible with your OS, if it is you can then install the microsoft driver for that printer otherwise you need to contact the printer manufacturer to get an updated driver for your printer
