In New Delhi, the expatriates are mostly from foreign missions, UN organizations, development agencies of various bilateral organizations, ADB and World Bank institutions as well as some International NGOs.

The number of expats in business establishments in New Delhi are relatively smaller, but they are also increasing in number. They actually end up more in Gurgaon and other aeas.

Memberships for expatriates usually through their institutions is relatively easier in two of the premier "clubs" i.e. in the India Habitat Centre and India International Centre is the easiest. In addition to stay and restaurant, you get access to a number of other facilitites in these insitutions, through membership.

Other possible organizations, with which you might seek membership are: Delhi Gymkhana Club, Chelmsford Club, Delhi Golf Club etc. Several of these offer preferred membership to expats on a temporary basis.
