Most of those "You have been selected to receive a new "whatever" click here for further details are scams, well not really scams but they all require you to sign and be accepted by diffrent companies, block buster, credit companies, ect. Most have you sign up for services and trials of other services. like with credit cards you have to sign up and be approved to get a card. These should be avoided. even if you complete the criteria and get your prise you;ve basicly already paid for it and will pay again cause you signed up for all these services....

it defend on the site, if you are telling about the pop up in your computer telling that CONGRATS YOU ARE THE 100,000 VISITOR CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR PRICE or receiving an email about any lottery that is are phishing style method to stole your identity and your credit card number.
