That wouldn't help. Even if they did go back to school now, they would still be able to say next month, yeah I wished I would have paid better attention at that course we took 4 weeks ago. People are the way they make themselves. Even to say what they say now is a direct relationship to how they were in those good ole days when they goofed around and didn't pay attention. They knew it then and they know it now, just a little difference in time that is all but given the chance to do it all again, they would do the same thing again, it is their nature to do so. If you do not believe me go back to school and see if it is any different. Please, I am a teacher and need the extra students, gives me more cash. Besides the teacher you had at that time, probably told you, you are going to regret this some day and low and behold guess what, you helped make his prophesy come true. It is sort of reverse psychology. He says this will be regretted, you continue to goof off knowing that you are going to prove him wrong, you will show him. 30 years later you find out that he was right, so who fooled who? You proved him correct but in doing so you led your life accordingly and each day continued to make decisions some good some bad, but hey at least you are alive, 30 to 35 years later so you did something right. You just didn't pay that close of attention but then how would you feel if you had of paid close attention what would those people be saying 30 years later. I am glad I paid attention back then because now I wished I had of ...................... there will always be regrets for everyone. Enjoy life and what it has to offer everyday of your life, you just had different priorities then, so what else is new?

actually yes I wish that I had applied myself more when I was there I was more of the class clown more than anything, so i never finished and that is my biggest regret in life, I had tried to go back but it felt weird sitting in a class and everyone was way younger than me and I knew the material they wouldn't just give me the test to take I had to sit through all the same crap I had in the first place and it frustrated me so I didn't stick around to take the test, now I'm married with 2 kids and I feel that I will never have the time to finish

I have visited and taken lessons at 45 comprehensives over the past 12 years as part of my job as a careers adviser. You would NOT want to be back in school nor would you - if you are sane - want to teach.
It is a bloo*y nightmare going into most of the schools. Respect? Ha! Many of these kids are overindulged, vile swine who need caning. Many of the parents are thick, vulgar sods who need their ars*s kicking.

Yes I do big time, I left school at 15 with no qualifications, I finally got some at 35 and the dream job I'd always wanted, so wish I had tried harder at school and got my qualifications when I was younger, still its never too late but easier when your younger.

Anyone can return to school at any age. But yes, I do wish I had applied myself more when I was in school. I also wish I had had the opportunity to go to college. Being the baby of four my parents were'n't to keen on the merits of higher education. But like I said, anyone at any age can choose to go back to school and get any degree they want.

Yes. It was the only free education offered to me and looking back I should have done more and tried harder. You only think of getting to the next age and milestone in your life though. Since you can't change the past, I try to learn and absorb as much as I can and I have friends in all aspects of life from whom I can learn.
You never stop learning if you're smart. the world has so much to offer.

No. I never wish I was back at school. I enjoyed university but a bachelors and masters degree is enough.
