They were not satanic. No way. They were experimental and way ahead of their time. They used drugs, and partied just like any other rock stars. They were so extremely talented and popular that they were always thinking ahead. They wrote some of the best songs ever recorded. They had that phase with the maharishi and the school of enlightenment - they were pretty spiritual at one point - but satanic? NOPE.
