A cool restaurant / jazz club in St. Louis -- The Bistro. They have fantastic food, an ambiance of the city but is also a laid back atmosphere. My friends and I go there for dinner before a show at the Fox Theater.
I have also been there for dinner and to see/listen to a cool jazz singer named Erin Bode -- It is a very "jazzlish" place. Love your inventive word.

smooth tasty jazz, a quiet piano, muted trumpets, brushes on the drums, a moody stand up bass, a sultry singer and glasses clinking in the background.

A dude eating a trumpet... Must I explain? Well, trumpet's a jazzy kind of instrument, and 'lish' is usually an abbreviated form of delicious. It's kinda funny. :)
