I know ultimately it comes down to our own decision, but I'm just curious what other people think. We are both about to graduate from college. He is going for a (2-year) master's degree, and I am going for a law degree (3 years). The first year of law school is the toughest, with the 2nd and 3rd years more relaxed. The master's program is about the same both years.
We will be living in the same city, I with my girl friends and him with his guy friends, while we are still unmarried. (We do not want to live together before marriage, for religious reasons). When would be the optimal time to get married? (in your opinion!)
Thanks!

mid spring, a lovely time for a wedding! or the beginning of summer, not too hot, nor cold. Good luck!

it's best to get married when you are ready to settle down with this guy and you know that he is the one forever.....you both will have great jobs and great schooling behind you....living apart before marriage is probably the best and more people should do it. if you both want to make sure your careers are in order before marriage and having children...that's a great plan....anytime of the year is fine for a wedding with the person you want to wake up to every morning. good luck to you.....

Not yet, if u have to ask......maybe question what will change when you are married & communicate with eachother to see if your both ready for that, my guess is not just yet....best wishes when it does happen tho, also the next question is financial, can you afford to have the wedding you want while your studying? hopefully you will only do it once so make the most of it......Good Luck & Congrats

Sounds to me like you both are smart people. You are both older and in college & also know that some years are going to be very hard.
I would say you both need to go with your gut it will tell you when the time is right.

everyone is different but if you really love each other why wait you can be married and go to college too. and you might actually do better in law so than if you where single... more support and less time for parties that way...

You should get married when you can no longer stand to not be with him always. I think it's odd when people get so clinical about things like love and forever. I say you get married when you can't do or think of anything else.

Depends on which gender you are. Women should marry frequently to keep from being bored to death. Men should never marry so they can live long and happy lives.
