Rebecca!
It's about a young girl who is poor and meets a rich man and they get married and move to his mansion. Though the man has lost his wife 1 year ago. She still thinks he is inlove with her and it is about her trying to fit in. but there are tons of unexpected twists. It is an amazing book. A little slow maybe the first one or two chapter but you can just skim those

Any old mystery novels like the James Bond ones. The movies are pretty good so the novels are probably even better!

"And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. Then the forever golden classic "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. As for more recent authors, "A Sight for Sore Eyes" by Ruth Rendell.

the thirteenth tale by diane setterfield. the book was absolutely riveting. the authors use of language and imagery just blew my mind. its about an author who finally decides to tell her memoir to a young biographer who also has a secret. very well written
