why does mazda cx7 technology package require power seats?

I was looking at the sports model with technology package and it says that it requires power seats. Does anyone know if this car has a driver memory function?

I don't see that being a requirement on the Mazda site, nor does it have memory seats. That is one expensive option package I think.
