The liberals don't like facts like this getting out. Shame on you for exposing the truth that anything successful could happen in Iraq.

Al-Sadr's going to Iran may have nothing to do with the end of the terrorists attacks in Iraq. He may just be consolidating his forces for further violence, on a larger scale; trying to enlist the help of the Iranian army or Iran's President to provide him more arms, I don't think this is over by a long shot!

It could the sign of a major change. It's highly possible al Sadr ran away because he felt the heat was coming his way. I don't know how long it will take to settle things down in Iraq. But it will happen.

al-Sadr went to Iran. Good thing they don't have cell phones there. Good thing that border is completely secure. Good thing he'll have no contact with his troops in Iraq.

I doubt it, this was fully expected. Bush is trying to overrun the militias. But he fails to realize that they don't have a set number. Muqtada will simply return to Iraq in a few weeks/months and regain control. The Iraqis still do not want peace.

The libs are trying to snarch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Our troops are nowhere near defeated ,Not 1 unit has been overrun.
The terrorists and insurgence keep losing every fight and their leaders are deserting them.
Victory is in site.

How long do you think his fleeing will last? I think it is a defeat and continues to get people killed for reasons that won't hit the light of day for a while.

i think it can certainly help decrease sectarian tension and the great mehdi army really can't survive without him, i don't believe. I'm pretty optomistic so far about this surge. it seems to be going better than i expected

Typical liberal strategy: Ignore the facts, and just keep saying the same lie.
