What kinds of pets? How many pets and why?

I have 10 pets.
- 5 cats
- 3 fish
- 2 gerbils

Geez, LOL, I have 5 cats, too. The reason I have 5 is because circumstances happened where they needed to be inside and get well. So, now I have 5, that is my limit. They have the run of my place, too. =)

I have 4 dogs.
3 are labs...2 chocolate,1 black and a wee little thing that im not sure about except she is an ankle bitter...
2 and 1/2 cats
1 inside cat and 1 1/2 outside
The 1/2 cat is a stray that i feed and it has taken to being friends with my outside cat.
6 fish
and 1 Horse who is just like one of the dogs...She is a baby of 23 years...
I'd have more but money and time are an issue.
All my animals are treated as family members except my hubby want let the horse in the house...

I have two dogs, Kelly and Gutterball. Why? Well, I got Kelly because Kira, the dog I had for 13 years died. Kelly helped to fill a void in my life. Gutter ball came in to our lives, because my husbands' dog, Nicky, died 6 months after Kira, and my husband was devastated. We got a call from our vet telling us they had a dog they might have to put down because he is too aggressive and they can't find any one to adopt him. They had found him on the Parkway in bad shape a year before, but now they were at the end of their rope with him, would we like to see if we wanted him..He has now been with us for 5 years. He has bad issues with people, so we keep him away from them, at home he's a love bug. a pain in the tush, but we love him. And I have a parrot name Kernel. He looks like an ear of corn with his yellow chest and green back. I got him shortly after my mom died, and have had him for about 18 or 19 years now. he can say some words and some whistles, and unfortunately, he can make fart noises, he's been hanging around my hubby too long!!!

I don't have any pets... I am actually my cats' pet & slave!
Two of them run the house, I am grateful they let me live here. Why? Because they are one of the most fascinating creatures on Earth, and I love them.

2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, 4 corn snakes, 1 ball pthyon and a fishtank. Why do I have them? They make me happy.

I live on a farm so I have alot.
I have ALOT of cats; Lulu, Garfield, Wreath, Midnight, Panther, Sassafras, Luna, Riley, Lizzy, Black Plum and alot of barn cats. lol. We didn't go to a shelter or anything, they just made their way to our house, and we feed them.
Two years ago we decided to put some animals on our farm. When my Mom was little she had alot of animals, so she loves them and misses having them. So, we went to a donkey farm and talked to a Woman about them and we met some donkeys. We got two donkeys. A pregnant donkey and another donkey. Soon the pregnant mother had an ADORABLE baby donkey!!!! SHE IS SOOO CUTE!!!! She was all furry and fuzzy. omg, so cute. The Mom's name is Lana, the baby is Sweet Pea, and the other donkey is Bonnie.
After this we decided to get goats. We got a Nigerian Dwarf and another one (I forget the type). The Nigerian Dwarf is Boots and the white goat is Jasper. They are soooo cute!! A long time ago on our farm my Grandma had 300+ sheep!!!!!! When I was really little the only remaining sheep we had were three!!!!! They died eventually. So...that is why we got the goats and donkeys.
One day when I was at a flea market with my sister and dad. I saw a guy who had fake purses and was giving out those baby turtles in bags!!!!!!! This is me was animal cruelty!!!!!!!!! They were the red eared sliders!!!!!! IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! They had very, very sick turtles, HUNDREDS of them inside huge bags in his fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH SOAP IN IT!!!! THAT IS KILLING THEM! So, of course I told my Dad all this and we bought five turtles (he wouldn't let me save anymore). When we got home we gave them baths because the soap was hurting them. And to this day four died and one (my turtle) Max is still alive and fat and sooo cute! I love him!
That wraps up my animals!!!!!!!!!!

i used to have 2 cats...i sure miss them...they stayed with my kids when i moved...where i live now i cant have pets...but i wish i could have 2 cats and 1 dog...
