Most of us have handed one child something that his/her sibling didn't want to eat etc. Drinking from the same bottle is a bad idea, but think of he baby food jars the same way as you would think of a pot of spaghetti. You would dish it up into a bowl or something, you wouldn't just han everyone a fork. Do the same for the baby food and you won't have the cold and flu transmission nor food safety issues to worry about.

I also have twins and they are 15 mos. old now. In the beginning we kept everything separate, pacifiers, bottles, food. As they have gotten older, it has become very impractical. One will drop a sippy cup and the other will pick it up and drink from it. They also swap pacifiers between the bars of their cribs (which are right next to each other) not to mention playing with/chewing/drooling on the same toys. In addition, when you are out and about it is not always practical to bring along separate bowls, etc. for the serving of baby food. My advice would be to do the best you can to keep things separate. The concerns about trading germs are valid and it is no fun to have sick twins to take care of. However, if they do use the same stuff it will probably be fine anyway. My personal feeling is that since the twins tend to spend so much time in close contact with one another they will probably be trading germs anyway.
Good Luck with the babies. Becoming a parent of twins has been one of the most rewarding (and challenging) experiences of my life!

How many of the people answering have twins???
If you did, you would notice that they put the same things in their mouths, and even put their hands in each other's mouths. So using the same spoon at feeding is NOT a big deal. It's easier to make two bottles to feed them at the same time, but if one uses the others bottle -- it's okay...

Definitely not - even though they shared the same home while in utero, you do NOT want them BOTH getting sick, if one catches something you'll certainly give it to the other! The best idea is to use two small bowls (something a lot of new parents don't think to get, baby dishes/utensils) dump from the same baby food jar and then fridge the jar (no more than 2 days). Also you need to throw out any food that you have dipped (or re-dipped) the spoon in after an hour or two.

It is never safe to feed 2 babys out of the same bottle or baby food. They both should have their own bottles and baby food... The reason for this is in case one becomes sick and the other doesn't, Or if one has thrush then the other wont get it.... It's always best not to feed 2 babys out of the same bottle or baby food.. They should have their own bottle and own jar of food or bowl of food.

I have 5 year old twin boys and was careful not to use the same items for the first couple of weeks. My pediatrician told me to relax...go ahead...they end up sharing everything anyway! Don't drive yourself nuts...our guys slept together, had the same changing table, and eventually would stick their hands in each other's mouths. You can't possibly give them something to share that they won't be sharing on their own when they become a little more flexible and mobile! As the mother of twins, you will find you will have many more things to worry about and occupy your time...like the way they work together as a team to devise new ways to get one over on you! Enjoy, Be grateful they aren't triplets, and focus on survival!

baby food yes, babby bottle, no
it must all be sanitised well, before used on another child.
baby food is fine as long as you use a different spoon for each child, but because some of the child's suliva comes into contact with the nipple of the bottle, any germs that child may have carried along with them could be passed on to the other child too. and the last thing you'd want is 2 babies sick.
the child may show no signs of germs or illness, but 98% of our suliva is oral bacteria so just imagine transferring that bacteria from one's mouth to another's, thats how illnesses spread.
so no bottle sharing, only until it is thouroughly cleaned can it be re-used

I have 3 yr. old twins, they're fun, but I have to go in two different directions to catch them. I wouldn't feed them off the same bottle, if one starts getting sick and you don't know about it until it's too late then you'll have two sick kids on your hands, plus everyone has their own germs...

Kids get sick and get each other sick. I wouldnt share the same bottles between them.
Just make up two bottles, feed one twin and then the second.

They are siblings so sharing the same bottle and spoons are fine. Just wash between each use. It is just like you and someone in your house using the same cup, you wash them between use right? A few situations may warrant them not to share. Like if one has oral thrush or something like that. Usually then you have to boil during treatment, so it doesn't come back. I wouldn't share pacifiers either.
