Buy a new video card. Really, if your card doesn't support a certain resolution there's not much you can do about it short of buying a new card.

Can your video card handle this resolution? Do you have the correct drivers installed for both the card and the monitor?

walmart.com has some nice cards for cheap

get at least a 256 meg card.......geforce is nice
