First impressions are always good. Be polite, professional and courteous. Wear clean and professional clothing that is neutral in color such as black or gray. Be sure you have good shoes, nothing makes you look worse than great suit and worn out shoes.

Ensure you don't brag and carry on a great conversation. And smile!!!

Smile and shake the interviewers hand firmly. One often overlooked thing is your backside. The interviewers often look at the back of the person to see if they are well dressed. The back of your hair is the most important. You would not believe the difference in what the interviewers see from the front to the back. Appearance is as important as your resume.

Don't use the word UMM or say "amazing" or other cliches. They are a turnoff. Stand in front of a mirror and rehearse some answers. That aways helps. Think about what they are going to ask you about your past employment and about this new job you are interviewing for. It pays to think ahead and have some "rehearsed" answers. Just don't sound rehearsed...

Good luck.

The simple anser is to do your homework. Do you know where the business is going? Who are its competitors? Have you looked up anything about the company?

Interviewers want someone who shows some interest and there is nothing better than asking questions about the business because you showed interest and did your homework. They will usually fall head over heals for people that do this.

Be yourself, listen to what they're asking and turn around and ask questions back. Make it a two way conversation so that you set the table of what you are looking for and discover what they're looking for.

Remember your searching for a company just as much as they're searching for an employee. Don't forget that and they will respect you better in the long haul.

Do's
"smile"
1. leave yourself open for at least 2 hours from the start time of your interview.
2. be 10 minutes early(no more no less)
3. be polite to the receptionist!!!!(usually this is your first impression, interviewers will ask receptionist about you before they ever see you.)
4. dress to fit in with the other employees(looks like you belong)
5. look up the company on line(shows your interest)
6. Ask how and when will you know if you got the job(very important)
7. before you leave say, "thank you for your time"(shows manners)

Dont's
1. dont be late
2. dont bring anyone with you
3. dont lie on/about resume(they already know the answer to most questions they'll be asking you)
4. dont chew gum
5. dont look at your watch(looks like you have somewhere better to be)
6. dont over talk the interviewer. let the interviewer lead.
7. dont give 1 word answers(be friendly)
8. be prepared for these questions
-why should we hire you?
-what can you do to help our company?
-what skill do you have?(remember this is on your resume)
-do you know anybody that works for us?(references)

most of all just be friendly, honest, and polite.

Try juggling on a unicycle whilst singing the national anthem backwards, Lol.

Just kidding, just tell them straight that it would be a mistake not to employ you. Be confidant boredering on arrogance, be sure of your ability an tell them what you hope to learn from working with them an what you bring to the situation. Standing out is just as important as impressing, stick in someones mind, you'd be surprised how many people hate interviewing people, make them laugh.

Good luck.

Don't act too cocky.
Be polite and courteous.
Ask Questions about the job when they ask you.
Wear a suit or something smart.
Pay attention don't let your eyes wonder around the room when they are talking to you.
Don't forget to smile.
Arrive about 10 mins early, to check the place out, and compose yourself, think what you are going to say to them.
Before you go for the interview read up on the company on what they do etc.

Wow...this is up my alley. First resume is a big thing. Clean, clear and to the point. Second, thing i see is are you on time. or do i have to wait on you. be sure you walk in calm and positive. (not in a rush, that you have to fix yourself) Third i like when they greet themselves (standing up) shaking hands and repeating the names of who they said hello. In the beginning and in the exiting too. and tell them too that you appreciate their time to talk to you. You will leave an impression on them.
