Pretty straight-forward question. Aside from Trini, the Yellow Ranger from the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers having a supporting role in The Crow: City of Angels, I don't recall ever seeing an ex-ranger in anything aside from Power Rangers.

What do you think?

Yes, I think it does...while it gave them a steady, high-paying paycheck for awhile, in the long-run they get typecast as a "Power Ranger" and casting agents and directors don't want to cast them in any other role other than teeny-bopper action heros (which they outgrow between the ages of 21-25)

BTW, Tommy, the original Red/Green/White Power Ranger, died in a skydiving accident several years ago and that is why he was "replaced". I met him in person many years ago and he was truly amazing with the audience and especially patient with small children.
