Can you get ps1 games on a psp through the ps3?

is it true that you can get and play playstation 1 games on your psp through the playstation 3? how does this work im confused...

Yes you can and it's awesome. first you have your PS3 logon to the PS3 network. Then you can download the ps1 games to the PS3 hard drive. From there you move them to the PSP. The Sony site will give you step by step on how to do this. http://us.playstation.com

You use your PS3 to go online to purchase the PS1 games from Sony Store and then download it to your PSP (version 3.00 or above).
