Why are you asking reapeat questions? I saw your marathon question elsewhere on Yahoo Answers about an hour ago... Because in the marathon question a reader said there were grammar issues and I wanted to know what it was. The full stop followed by a question mark was done intentionally, I was worried about the rest. I posted the question in two categories because one of the readers suggested it.

The error lies in having both a full stop and a question mark.

How does one prepare to run in a marathon if one runs only 3 miles every other day?
I never ran in a marathon before.

In the above, there is a problem with verb & noun agreement, plurality, and also punctuation.

The best way is to either read more books written in English or take classes.
