I think it'd be better to word this "Are Bible beating, scripture mis-construing, traditionally constipated, conservatively self centered people evil!?" Then I would say Yes. I'm a total Democrat, but I'd vote for Rudy Guiliani if he ran for President.

There was a time when I once supported Republicans but after years and years of their hypocrisy, denials, and steadfast refusal to look at the forest through the trees I have come to believe there may be some credence to that assertion.

Nope. No one is evil based solely on their political affiliation.
In fact, evil is a word I think is far, far overused in the United States.
