Elias Merhige's "Begotten" What do you think?

If you have seen this movie, give me your opinion.

Is this a brilliant piece of film making, or is it just a bunch of boring tripe? I have seen about 40 minutes of this and wonder if I should waste any more time or money on it. In what I have seen, it is hypnotizing and yet disturbing in it's visual expressions.

I haven't been able to find it anywhere! It sounds amazing though. If you are moved enough after 40mins to post here, then it seems to me that you should watch the rest.
