I'm a arsenal fan but I have just been thinking, now that Blackburn have to play in the uefa cup and the fa cup replay todays 0-0 draw could be the worst result blackburn could have hoped for. Here is why.
1.) They don't have 2 1st teams like arsenal, so the players will be to tierd to compete in the uefa cup 2nd leg. This may lead to them being knocked out and losing loads of money.
2.) Surely Arsenal can destroy them at Ewood Park. I doubt Blackburn will defend at there home stadium.
3.) Blackburn don't have a hope in hell of winning the F.A. Cup anyways so they should have really just been looking to rest players and try to get far in the uefa cup.
All todays game as shown is that blackburn can't play good football. Infact they can't really draw games either without 7 defenders on the park. There is more chance of blackburn players picking up injuries and fatigue. This is not only bad for there uefa cup run but also for there chances of getting into europe next season.

well paulmspencer, If we have beat them twice then one of those must have been at home and I live in Scotland and don't have the money to buy a ticket to watch arsenal play. Also many people around the world want to watch arsenal play so it's hard to get a ticket. It's not blackburn when only a few farmers are interessted, arsenal are the real deal.

I'm a Gooner too. You make good points. We should take them out up there. Our boys should have won anyway. That was a penalty in the second half. Even the announcers said it was obvious. Also to Man U, all I can say is how many teams have beaten or will beat them twice this year?

They obviously don't think so seeing as they played for it.
1.) They can ease off the training a bit to prevent getting too tired.
2.) Surely Arsenal could destroy them at the Emirates. But they didn't. Perhaps Blackburn will go for another draw and hope to take it on penalties.
3.) Surely they've got more of a chance than Sunderland had in 1973.

It is good for Blackburn to take Arsenal up north! Bad for Arsenal due to the amount of fixtures they have coming up.
FA cup
premier league
Carling Cup Final
Champions League

I believe Blackburn can win the replay. Its a great result for them and all the best to them.
Arsenal have a lot of fixtures piling up alongside the Champions League and if they had to choose one then it wouldn't be the FA Cup thats the most important.

One way to look at it is that they have competed against one of the best teams in the country and managed a goaless draw away from home. This should give them confidence in their upcoming games.
I think Arsenal should be asking why they continue to stutter at the Emirates. How on earth they have managed to avoid defeat there is simply miraculous. Or is it a sign that the best is yet to come?

Arsenal are definitely favourites to win the replay. Brad Friedel played out of his skin and Arsenal should have had a penalty when the good ship Aliadiere was brought down in the box.

needless to say not, i continuously % the worst 3 communities to be relegated. Blackpool would be relegated (be honest they're a one guy team-and what have they accomplished in final 7 video games a million or 3 factors with 6 defeats) Wigan would be relegated (a nil guy team lol) The final one is up for debate-West Ham,WBA doing extra useful now... for my section i say Wolves.

Fair play to Friedel today,we could have just nicked that.No good bleating about the penalty either it's swings and roundabouts.Just have to go up north and do the job properly.
