Asthma is an allergy and is triggered by something. The best non medication treatment for asthma is learning your triggers and avoiding them. Common triggers are smoke, dust, mold, mildew, plants, dust mites, pets and grass/weeds.

If you can not figure our your triggers, you may need to see an allergist and have allergy screening done. This may point out your triggers.

The National Asthma Prevention Program and the Expert Panel of Diagnosis and Management of Asthma both agree if you have to use a prescription inhaler such as albuterol more then two time per week, your asthma is NOT in control and you will need a prescription controller medication.

Controller medications are steroids (Asthmacort Asthmanex, Flovent, Pulmocort), Leukotriene modifier (Singulair, Aculade, Zyflo) or mast cell stabilizers (Cromolyn sodium, Intal, Tilade).

You may want to talk to your doctor about several strong controller medications and maybe Xolair shots.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

Hi,
I had a reprieve from asthma this year which I put down to the hot, dry summer. The same has happened on holiday in France but notably, the longest period of time asthma-free was following prayer when a group of Christians from healing rooms in Washington, USA came over.

I wish there was an answer, unfortunately, Asthma is a cronic disease, you will have it until you die. You cannot overcome it, but you sure can control it, do a little bit of cardio everyday and you'll see :), also there are asthma pumps that can help you in need

One thing that I truly believe will help you is getting the toxins out of your home. I didn't realize how powerful it would be until I did it myself. I DO NOT use Clorox or 409 or Lysol or any other chemical in my house anymore. I can't believe what a saving grace that was for me and my family.
I came across a company that sells alternative cleaning supplies and they work just as well (if not better) and they're environmentally safe for you and your family. It's worth checking into. We are all preferred customers so if you decide to try them out, you would be referred and I would be the one to talk to so I can get you all the information.
It's truly been a God send for me!!! Worth looking into.
God Bless you!
Tina

Can you explain how long you are suffering from asthma, in which forms? What is your profession? Sometimes professional conditions may provoque asthma.

After visititing a physician, try a therapy against anxiety.

I wish you all the best!

Everyone has there own individualized triggers. It is good that you know yours. Some suggestions are to do regular breathing exercizes and core strenthening exercizes like yoga or pilaties instead of high impact exercizes. Listen to your body, and dont overdo it. If you want to try swimming start slow and build on it. Dont do laps your first time.

my son has asthma....depending when you got it will depends if you are going to overcome it. if you had it as a child you have a good chance. but you if you got as an adult there is a big chance you won't.....your best bet is figure out when is your worst time (winter, summer, spring, fall) also figure out what triggers it. and then go from there.
