I get happy whenever what I'm sad about is solved, talk to someone, right what you're feeling down in a sacred place and let all your feelings out. It makes me feel refreshed and happy and free.

take care of yourself in the following order -- body, head, heart, spirit
first do something physical -- take a walk or a swim -- but get moving. Eat something light but satisfying -- fresh crisp apples always wake me up and cheer me up. Open up the shades in your room and get some light in your life
next do something that stimulates your head -- read a good book or magazine, but do it in the public library especially if this is a light and pleasant building. Do some puzzles like Sudoku that get your brain jump-started.
Then do something that makes you feel good -- visit somebody who will enjoy your company (maybe a grandma or elderly aunt) or volunteer at the humane society (they always need someone to walk the dogs) Or if you are the solitary type, go to the park and walk.
Finally, feed your soul. Some people pray, some sing, some listen to music, some meditate. In the end, the results are much the same, get in touch with those things that are your core values.
On Sunday night, write down one thing that you most want to do (big or small) and then work toward doing that one thing. (give yourself room for hope)
Best wishes

Put on your favorite music, something upbeat, and sing your heart out. Dance around and fake it til you make it. Think about the rose...so beautiful but full of thorns....focus on the rose and not those tiny things that hurt. Look inside yourself and tell yourself what you like the most about you. Build up your own self esteem and tell yourself how wonderful you are. I am sure you are wonderful. If sadness is all you feel and sometimes you're never happy seek medical advice. It could be a chemical imbalance that meds could help with....

When I clear up things I've been procrastinating, it makes me happy.
About a week or so ago, I went to the video store, rented some movies, stopped by Sonic to get a chicken sandwich and a diet coke, came home, put on a DVD, sat on my couch in a place where the sun from the overhead windows was striking, took a bite of my sandwich, swallowed, took a sip of the coke...
And I was ecstatic.
Hope that helps.

As you are asking this question in the relationships section, I can only advise that you are obviously not content with your current situation. Only you know the dynamics of this, which are very difficult for an outsider to advise on. Probably you already know the answer in your own heart.

You gotta talk to the person that is making your unhappy. See what they have to say and if things can turn around. If not theen you gotta end things, so you can find someone else that makes you happy. Honestly, you make yourself happy by being totally loved and accepted by yourself and your loved ones.

Do what I did. Solve your personal problems, one by one, until you feel as carefree as a bird. Also, keep your life and finances as simple as you can. This is living!
