...Minus anything of the stature of the earlier administration's sterling achievements in Medicare and race relations, of course... Just war, war escalation and poll numbers in the tank for half a decade.

Cool

I guess what you're saying is Clinton was a great achiever, as was Kennedy. I disagree with your assessment of these two earlier presidents.

John Kennedy along with brother Bobbie, were the early architects to the Vietnam war. Unfortunately Lydon Johnson, not being the brightest bulb in the box, and a hawk in his own right, carried out the legacy left by Kennedy. Thus, the war in Vietnam.

Bill Clinton was the shameless coward of the 90's who deferred any and all retaliation of our enemy to his successor. You may recall, under Clintons watch, the US was attacked no less than six times, yet this spineless guppy did nothing to retaliate, he was too busy being presidencial to bother with national security.

Ya know Tyrone, doing the job right isn't always popular, and the American voters are the least professional group of experts on that subject. Voting blocks in the US have completely distorted the will of the people, as have the political parties.

I believe we should start all over and eliminate the political party concept and go with strictly popular vote. I despise the idea that some disgusting political wannabe like the Clintons can be a serious candidate because of the war chest they have raised.

You better put national security ahead of all the social issues that politicians like to address, just to keep their opponents off balance or confuse the voters. Without a safe America, you don't have shiit. A Clinton can never give you that, and all you need do is read up on their lack of courage during slick Willie's watch, and you will realize this to be true.

LBJ was the first President to suggest we use the Social Security so that the budget wouldn't look so bad with deficits. And a Democratic Controlled Congress said BRILLIANT!

Not only did LBJ had Viet Nam going on he also declared a 'War on Poverty" And the Democratic Controlled Congress said BRILLIANT!

Now about the earlier administrations sterling achievements. What did the earlier administration actually do by themselves? Zilch, zip, nada. Because you obviously flunked government. I'll let you in on some valuable information. The Executive Branch cannot do anything not already authorized by Congress.

I'd say George W. 'Dee Dee Dee' Bush has done more harm to this country than any other preceding president EVER.
