My boyfriend and I always have protected sex. We are extremely careful about such things. Though, this month, I'm late on my period. Ever since starting sex though, my periods have been pushed back by a few days, often getting later and later. What started as being on the 10th or around, got pushed to the 15th... 16th... and now late again. I've heard this is normal until you get on birth control, something we are planning on doing very soon. He always wears a condom, puts it on right, everything...
I was suffering from an upset stomach, but it has gone away, my nipples are sore, I'm not going to the bathroom anymore the usual, and I'm not all that tired. Really, I'm just thinking it might be stress, but I'm not sure. If it doesn't come very soon, at the end of the month I'm going to take a pregnancy test. Though, does this sound like pregnancy to you?

The problem is pregnancy symptoms and stress symptoms are so much alike you can't really tell unless you take a pregnancy test. I know, not very helpful :((
Your symptoms are like my initial pregnancy symptoms. Except for the fact I was extremely exhausted and moody. When I get that exhausted and moody I know I'm definately pregnant. Even my hubby mentioned it to me, in fact he said I don't know what I'm going to do with you if your not pregnant! hehehehehe
My test showed a faint positive line the day of my missed period. If you have symtpoms you should register pregnant or not on a HPT. Read the directions first as most say to pee in a cup and dunk the test in the cup. Not the old method of holding it in your urine stream while peeing.

Honestly, no. Don't look at the exact date, though, as most periods are about 28 or so days apart, and we only have one 28-day month every year. I haven't been on birth control in over 10 years, and mine are about every 26-29 days. Well, when I'm not pregnant, that is. I'm currently pregnant with #2 (38 weeks). Our older one is 6 years old, and no pregnancies in between. We have only ever used condoms, but we've always used them religiously, and it seems to work just fine.
Stress can definitely effect your cycle, though. Sounds like you're being responsible, which is good, but you're right. If you haven't started by the end of the month, get a home test. Good luck to you!

The symptoms can overlap with period and stressing about it. If your periods have been coming later and later each month maybe that is what's going on. Plus sore breasts/nipples can be brought on by your period too. But most women will get it enough that they know it is part of getting their period, is it new for you?
Why not just go ahead and test? This way you know for sure.

If you have been true to using protection every time then it is highly unlikely that you are. If there is a chance or you have your doubts then go in and get a test done. Missed perods and sore breasts are a sign. Just because you are not tired or peeing every minute doesn't mean anything. I have been pregnant 3 times and each time was different. I wish you the best.

somewhat. the morning sickness isnt really an upset stomach though, its more dizzy and nauseated...you always have to pee, and its like, once you get the feeling, you have to go really bad right away...your breasts do get tender, however, sometimes this can happen if your bra is a little tight, or sometimes it can happen with your period.
just stay practicing safe sex, get on the pill as soon as you find out your not. take a pregnancy test about a month or so after you think you may have conceived.

not necessarily because some women's periods just run like that, especially if that's normal for you. i usually average 10 periods a year because of that. are sore nipples something new for you? as long as the condom didn't break or have a hole then i doubt that you are, but good luck i hope it works out the way you want it to.

It sounds like pregnancy to me... but then It could also be from stress. Last summer I was under a lot of stress from what I was going through and that is how I felt. So it could be from stress or you are pregnant.
