I think most of them are good. Parenting has really good articles. A free one for expecting parents is American Baby.

I bought my wife "Mothering" magazine. She loves it. I even read it a little myself. It has a lot of good information on breastfeeding, immunization, slings, and so much more. It's $23 for a year subscription and you will receive an issue every two months. It may seem a little pricey, but it is well worth it!
I suggest going to their website and reading a few articles to see if it matches with you thoughts and beliefs as a parent. Their website is www.mothering.com I hope this helps!

Depends what kind of parenting they are into.

Personally I didn't like any of them. I did read Parents but it was a bit too mainstream for me. WAY too many ads for formula etc which were useless to me. I also read Mothering, which is an attachment parenting magazine but I wasn't too "crunchy" either, so that one was a bit too for me as well.

I like Parents and Parenting. They both cover general issues as well as age specific stories/advice.
