I'm not emo but a lot of my friends are and I love them for it! They're not afraid of what other people think about them and they're usually a lot of fun.

They are doing their thing and not hurting anyone. Once they are old and see pictures of themselves they will have a good laugh and memories about that time in their lives. They are celebrating their individuality and if Emo is their thing, why not. People shouldn't be judging them because of their outside but what they are on the inside.

Personally, I think emo boys are very cute. They're boys who aren't afraid to show their emotions, and who most people could relate to in one way or another. I'm female, so I don't know what to say about emo girls, but I think we should just give emo's a brake,what did they ever do to us ?

Whiny little worthless sacks of crap. The super tight black jeans have got to go. Emo happens when it becomes "cool" to be a social misfit. Not in the way punk did it where people were actually bad *** and just really wanted to anger the world. Emo is just a watered down MTV movement for kids who hate their parents.

i think a lot of people need to self identify with a certain subculture, and i dont understand why. not everyone is going to fit into one category, even if they themselves want to. i think mostly they're people who need to identify with a subculture because they're not confident enough to be who they really are and outwardly express their authentic self. So in a sense, that kind of presentation is advertising one's emotional instability. I also think costumes are tacky and confusing. If you look at high fashion, things are much more understated. If you like that kind of style, you can try and pull of something like dior homme by hedi slimane.

Personally I dont care for that style, but if they feel good wearing it then they should wear it. People need to express themselves, there is no right or wrong way to look what is normal?

I like the way they live but sometimes i think it's freaky seeing people wearing dark eyeliners behind their eyes...it gives me the creeps, you know..
