I don't like to be brainwashed by the media, but I like to know what's going on in the world. Where do you think I should check the news?

Anyone who thinks Fox News is objective needs to be shot and killed immediately. Fox is devoted to advancing right wing causes and stops nearly at nothing to glorify the conservative movement.

CNN suffers from the same problem as much TV news: it is simply infotainment, another form of reality TV, if you will.

The BBC is probably the best news source out there. It is the largest broadcasting company in the world, helping to reduce bias through sheer size. It also operates as a British public corporation, forcing it to attempt, as far as possible, to eliminate bias. Furthermore, as concerns American News (if you are American), the BBC is particularly unbiased because it comes from abroad and has no ideological axe to grind whatsoever in American affairs.

Reuters is a fairly unbiased source, but it is primarily concerned with financial information. (It derives only 10% of its revenue from news reporting).

So, go for the BBC.

What? CBC is so plenty greater powerful than BBC. CNN and Fox, nicely they're purely ridiculous. CBC interior reason purpose in spite of the reality that they are relatively left-leaning. They question politicians and tension them to grant a good answer regardless of what party that flesh presser belongs to. BBC, i in my opinion have self assurance, is bias, of path no longer as bias as CNN or Fox, yet they actually help their own government and particularly situations generalize approximately issues. CBC is plenty greater powerful than BBC and the information-journalists on BBC feels like they're screaming or talking very aggresively particularly situations. GOooo Peter Mansbridge!

-If I want objective information, I go to the BBC.
-If I want entertainment news, I go to CNN.
-If I want to hear what the American Republicans are upset about, I go to Fox News.
-I'm not as familiar with Reuters other than seeing articles put into local newspapers that are Reuters reports.

Most objective would be the one who shows more than one side of the story.

Each news network has their own slant.
You want to know the truth I suggest you watch a few how they cover a story.
Think for yourself rather going to a news source to prove you are right.

CNN and FNC are definately not. I am unfamiliar with Reuters because we use the AP, and the BBC is well respected so that would be my guess.
