I've wondered the same thing. I think Americans were living under a rock when they voted for that monkey TWICE!

1) It's a combo of who votes and the voting system:
-Only 70% of Americans are registered to vote.
-Only 50%-60% of Americans typically vote in an election. Americans are not required to vote in this country.
-Therefore, only 35%-40% of Americans elect a president or other officials. Of the people who vote, the older you are, the more likely you are to vote. We also have an aging society, so there are more older adults than young. So the most people voting are in their 60-70-80's. They're more conservative than the rest of American society.
-The popular vote doesn't always elect the President, since the electoral college actually elects the President. So whoever gets the majority of votes in your state wins *all* the electoral votes for your state. Bigger the state, the more influence you have on an election.
2) Bush may invade Iran, but than again he can also invade Syria. For that matter he can invade North Korea, since they are part of the "axis of evil", along with Iraq. I think he'll do whatever he wants. He hasn't done any long term planning yet, so why should he care about consequences now? He has nothing to lose.
Bush is arrogant and wealthy, he could care less about America's allies or wasting Americans money or creating new generations of people who will hate Americans for killing their families. His life has been very insulated; he has no clue what it's like to be an average American.

Cheapskate. Asking 3 questions at once. Shame on you. First answer. America reelected President Bush because the majority believed he was doing a good job not only with the war but with things on the home front. Second answer. The war in Afghanistan needed to be fought and we need to continue to fight the Taliban. These people are evil and were supporters of Bin Laden. I believe he is still there somewhere and that his supporters in the area are hiding him. Would love to find him and show him the same justice his supporters have shown to the Americans that they captured. Third answer. I don't know if invading Iran is where he is going. I think it might be he is using more of a scare tactic on Iran. But, he does need to beef up Iraq's border because the terrorists are crossing into Iraq from Iran and they are bringing with them the IED's and weapons. I don't think anyone is sure if Iran's government is behind this or Al Queda. Or both.

Many Americans did not vote for the Shrub, but our system for electing the president does not allow for the popular vote to be the deciding vote. Instead, the Electoral College decides who will get each state's vote. So the party in power in any particular state decides who wins, not the American people. For example, in the 2000 election, Al Gore got the popular vote in Tennessee, where he has family ties, and campaigned quite a bit. But instead of following the desire of the Tennesseans who took the time and effort to vote, the electoral college helped elect George W. Bush.

I disagree. Iran is _so_ a risk to usa. Iran.....has.....oil. We.....could....take....the oil. Our boys (and ladies, too, we are able to % lots infantry that girls persons will placed on the crossed rifles in the previous lots longer) will die in droves in yet yet another us of a. yet one clarification is needed: Rummy's plan, cooked up in the previous the 2004 election (and perhaps in the previous the 2000 election, i'm in simple terms not sure) has continuously been to invade (so as) Iraq, Iran, and then Saudi Arabia. it quite is not something new in the Neocon plan. Bush has found out lots from the death, destruction and distress in Iraq. He and his cronies have found out the thank you to skim in simple terms particularly and grow to be rich as Croesus in the technique. regardless of each and every little thing, at $30Billion a month, even a stupid criminal (examine, W) could skim one in each and every of those small piece of the action that it will seem to be smaller than the noise from random sampling errors that creeps into each and every audit. What extra could a solid Christian boy % from a conflict?

He does not want to invade Iran; you're obviously not an American and have jumped to the conclusion with a lack of information.
In answer to your first question, we re-elected the fool because Kerry did not win our confidence at a time of war when a changing of the guard is much less likely to occur than during peace time.

where do you get this nonsense that he wants to invade Iran. He simply correctly pointed out that the Iranians are supplying weapons to the Iraqi insurgency.
And we keep him in power because he was elected president twice and did nothing to be removed from office.

Says in the bible {Mathew 24:6-} You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but do not fear, for these thing must happen, but the end is still to come. We need to stop judging and let God be the judge. Mathew 7:1,2- 1- Do not judge or you to will be judged. 2- For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Americans are sheep. We talk about freedom, but the truth is we want to be controlled, whether it be government, religion, media, whatever.
This war is wrong, plain and simple.
