I spent all this money on a palm pilot, and so far I can't see any uses for it that I couldn't do with my cell phone! The palm is even worse because it powers off automatically, so if I have an alarm set, it won't notify me because the stupid thing shuts off! IS THERE ANY BENEFITS IN HAVING A PALM PILOT AND A PHONE?? Thank you! Dana

Go to preferences, then power. You will have the option to shut off auto-off.

Besides, the alarm WILL sound if you turn it off (but not if you remove the batteries).

PDA's can do many good things. If you got a Z22, you might not have much use. If you have a Tungsten E2, TX, or other fancy handheld, you can use it as a media player.

Besides, you can go to sites like freewarepalm.com to get new stuff for your Palm. If I must recommend one program, try Space Trader.

well look at it this way, with some of the plans you can surf the net and use it as a computer. Also you got a camera in there and video so you can do other things with that

Well, I made the same mistake until I bought a cellphone/PDA combo. Its so much better. Sell your PDA and trade your phone in and get a Treo or something similar. You can have both in one unit.
