I do not think that if Sarah Jessica Parker walked past me in the street I would think she is attractive (especially without the styling)

LOL, have always thought the same thing about Sarah Jessica Parker myself..she is just plain funny looking! Her eyes are too close together, almost cross-eyed and her nose is way too big for her face!
Besides her:
Helena Bonham Carter - Goth miscreants would be a compliment!
Britney Spears - Average at best, looks and talent!
Rose McGowen - Come on, be real, ef she went to your high school she would be a labeled a skank/dog!
Justin Timberlake - ordinary is a compliment..can't you just picture him as a bag boy at Wal-Mart?
James Blunt - In dire need of a haircut, and looks like he his the ugly branches all the way down on the tree of life.
Jay-Z - odd looking face - if it weren't for his millions and by random luck of hitting it big, would anyone think he is hot?
Li'l Jon - Ditto on the Jay-Z analysis, but even more of a wonder of "what the heck!" actor.
Steve Buschemi - only talented one of the bunch and even has had roles like in "Fargo" that he is cited as being a "really ugly fella" but his talent and heart gives his performances an "X" factor that makes you want to watch more, even though is is visually unappealing...which makes him a great actor!

When i first read the question i thought of Paris Hilton.But then,on second thought,most celebrities would be pretty plain if it weren't for their make up and styling plus the idolizing from their fans.You can find more natural beauties at your local mall than in hollywood
